Just out of curiosity, how much did that whole rig set you back?

If I bought it, I would know. I just drive it.

Ah ok. Main reason I ask is because my uncle just recently got a Polaris Ranger 570 with a plow and it cost him like $14k out the door; he bought it with the express purpose of plowing his driveway. I kept thinking to myself, he could have bought a really nice utility tractor with a loader attachment for that money, and it would have been more useful for his purposes.

Yessss that’s the best feeling in the world. Any excuse I can get I  use mine! The work force multiplier.

I talked my sister (Northern Wisconsin) out of that type of rig. While the side-by-side  ATV   might be fun, I don’t think it’s heavy enough to push significant amounts of snow.

She’s saving up for a little-more-expensive tractor and blower attachment instead. (Which also gets her a new mower.)

I do think it was around $15k (used). I t came with the bucket, snow blower, & a mower deck. I has gotten a few more attachments since.

I did not need to clean up the bit of snow that pushed out from the side of the bucket when pushing (not enough of base to blow it yet), I like it clean.

My neighbor had one of those and it was okay for little snows but couldn't push snow over the berms. By the end of winter his driveway was 5 feet wide.

Yeah that’s what I’m afraid of; he hasn’t gotten a significant snowfall yet but I suspect anything more than a foot and the UTV will be struggling.

Very nice. I love a good tractor.

This was me last week. The old girl works pretty well for its size and age
